The dispute between an LGA in Ebonyi and another in Cross River has resulted in the death of about 50 persons over 5 years

The Coordinator of the Igbeagu Development Centre of Ebonyi State, Philip Alieze, has pleaded with the National Boundary Commission (NBC) to quickly resolve the boundary dispute between the people of Igbagu in Izzi Local Government Area (LGA) of Ebonyi state and Ukelle Community in Cross River State.

Speaking to journalists in Abakaliki, the state capital, Alieze said the Development Centre was disturbed by the non-resolution and demarcation of the boundary between the two communities.

The latest single from Dbanj was banned from the airwaves for being lewd

‘Oliver’, the new single from D'banj, has been banned by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for its obscene lyrics.

All radio and TV station airplay of Oliver is henceforth to be stopped according to the NBC, because "Oliver Twist has lewd lyrics."

Following the success of the Enigma music competition in July, where the winner received 3500USD, Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mo'hits Records, is offering a total of USD7,500 and other consolation prizes for a dance video competition to the new D'banj song, Oliver.

A hotel maid, Nafissatou Diallo, who says IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her was due to testify before a New York grand jury on Wednesday.

A lawyer for the 32-year-old African widow dismissed a suggestion by Strauss-Kahn's defense counsel that the incident at the luxury Times Square Sofitel last Saturday might not have been a sexual assault.
